30!

Surprise!!

This is me completely shocked by a surprise party that my wonderful husband put together for my 30th birthday. This is my "what the..." face.
For about a week he said we had plans but he would NOT give me any details only that we had reservations. Well, the only place in town that takes reservations is the Painted Pony, so I thought I'd figured it out. He really did a great job because the one resturant is in the same parking lot as the actual pizza place we ended up at.
So many of our friends and family were there and of course everyone yelled "Surprise". It was so unexpected and fun! Only a litle embarrassing!
Me and my gorgeous friends Kathryn and Josie.
Two more of my beautiful friends Staci and Brooke.

I love this picture of me blowing out the candles. Everyone sang but it was the little kids who were really interested in the CAKE. I just LOVE their faces! Thank you to my amazing husband Derrick and to all of my friends and family who made my 30th birthday so special. I am truely very blessed!

Almost forgot... Olivia's 3rd Birthday!

Make a wish!
Playing pin the lips on the heart.
Opening presents is so fun. Little girl parties are so different from little boy parties. They were all so shy and quiet. It was a nice change from crazy little monkeys running all over my house.
We love Barbie!

Dance Class

This is Olivia's first time to dance class. She really seemed to enjoy it until about the last five minutes. Then all she wanted was chocolate from the machine outside and I couldn't get her to go back in. We will try again after Spring break and hopefully she will go because it is just so stinkin adorable to watch those cute little girls dance.

It's a Girl!

Profile.
The 3-D images are so neat! I just love this sonogram that we can see her cute little nose and lips.
We are so excited to be having another sweet little princess. The boys don't seem to care much either way but Olivia can hardly stand it and asks every day when she's coming out.

Bleeding

On Christmas eve I started bleeding and thought for sure I was miscaring. Thankfully my mom and dad were here to help take care of us. This pregnancy has been sooo random. Completely different from all three of my others. I miscarried early on three months in a row just trying for this one, so of course I thought it was happening again. Crazy enough though I did not lose our baby. Instead I had developed a large blood pool just under or next to my uterus/placenta. My doctor wasn't sure exactly where it was coming from and earlier on it was almost the same size as my uterus. GREAT! So I bled for 2 very long months and finally stopped at 18 weeks. Although the pool still remains, it is clotting now which is very a good thing. All the while our little baby has continued to grow and develop unaffected by this situation. Alleluia!! My doctor has kept a close watch on the baby,(ultra sounds every 2 weeks), which helped to put my mind at ease. If you look just below the alien baby in the picture you can see where the blood pool is. So... finally after all day morning sickness for months and bleeding, hives, and a nasty cold, I'm happy to actually be feeling somewhat normal.

Our News

Baby #4. Only 3 months along. I'm HUGE!!!

Christmas Morning

Mason, Colin, and Olivia got a lot of fun gifts this year. My mom and dad really spoiled them. I even got surprised this year with a new camera from my sweetie. In one of the pictures our silly little Colin told my dad all he wanted for Christmas was a rock, so that was the first gift he opened and his reaction was pretty. I really wish we could see my family every year at Christmas. We had so much fun with them letting them spoil and take care of us.

Sugar Cookies with Mimi

My mom is my kids grandma, but prefers to be called Mimi and she makes THE best sugar cookies.

Crazy Blog!!

I have been out of the blogging world for a few months. Mostly because it was having some technical difficulties. I'm not sure what the heck is going on. It's still acting strange, but I figured too many things were being missed and I needed to at least get our pictures on here. So until I get it figured out, there may only be posts with pictures and no journaling because that's the part that's screwy.
